Hospitality Business Review: Selection Methodology

Program Objective

The “Top Hospitality Business Solutions & Services” and related recognitions by Hospitality Business Review aim to identify organizations across the hospitality industry that demonstrate leadership in service performance and guest experience. The program covers service and consulting providers supporting hospitality businesses across property management, catering, and staffing, alongside firms specializing in procurement, marketing, construction, and facility services. It also recognizes organizations enabling digital guest experience, revenue management, and hospitality technology solutions. By highlighting organizations driving operational efficiency and service consistency, we feature partners essential to the success of modern hotel, resort, travel, and tourism environments.

The Selection Framework

Our research team, in collaboration with the Hospitality Business Review Editorial Board, an external panel of industry peers, analysts and subscriber-driven nominations, employs a Hospitality Business Value Assessment Model to identify and recognize companies delivering exceptional value to the hospitality industry. Subscriber input plays an important role in the process, highlighting companies that professionals across the industry would recommend to their peers, choose for their own organizations or regard as best-in-class within their domain.

Nominees are scored on a scale of 1–100 across the following four criteria:

Impact on Service Delivery and Business Performance (30%)

Assessment focuses on measurable improvements in service consistency, workforce productivity, cost control, coordination or overall business performance across hospitality environments.

Hospitality-Specific Business Fit and Service Alignment (25%)

The editorial board examines how well a provider aligns with hospitality workflows, service models, staffing dynamics and the practical realities of delivering consistent experiences across diverse service settings.

Execution in Experience-Driven and High-Variability Environments (25%)

Scoring considers the ability to deliver reliably in settings shaped by fluctuating demand, real-time service expectations and coordination across multiple roles while maintaining discipline in execution.

Market Confidence and Industry Credibility (20%)

Strong candidates demonstrate sustained trust through client relationships, subscriber nominations, repeat engagements, referrals and recognition among hospitality leaders as dependable business partners.
